We are looking for a Senior Java Developer, with extensive experience in building high-quality, large-scale web applications in international environments.
YOUR ROLE:
- You participate in clarifying requirements, designing and implementing Java web applications;
- You contribute to quality improvement, via code reviews and unit-tests, and check the results of your work together with other members of the team;
- You estimate the necessary effort, record the actual effort and communicate with the team members or client’s technical contact on any potential issue.
- You care deeply about performance, usability, and accessibility.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of professional experience working with Java;
- 8+ years of professional software development experience;
- Strong knowledge of Java (17+);
- Experience with Java frameworks (Spring Boot);
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL);
- Data structures, complexity awareness, design patterns, algorithms;
- Versioning, testing, continuous integration, dependency resolution, build, coverage;
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Knowledge of AWS and Azure is a plus;
- Knowledge of NoSQL (MongoDB);
- Experience with project management tools (Jira);
- Experience with documentation tools (Confluence);
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
